One of the software programs students use throughout the year is GarageBand/Soundtrap. Most Apple products come with the bare minimum of GarageBand. I encourage students to explore the program if a Mac is accessible, or use the online software Soundtrap. Students in class, are given a handout with certain criteria in creating a song in GarageBand/Soundtrap. Students are graded on the outlined worksheet, creativity and musicianship.
