Students will learn about various Social Justice topics and how music can be and has been used as a platform for change. Students will learn about Pop and Hip-Hop song form outlining the parts: chorus, verse, bridge. Students will write a song with lyrics based off of their research of a chosen topic. Students will show their project to the class/share with their platform, bringing positive awareness to their topic.
